A lot of camisoles I've owned with "built-in" bra support that don't hold up for too long. Usually it results in a saggy uni-boob which I don't like. This camisole is flattering enough to wear as a top and supportive%2Bcomfortable enough to wear all day. I was so nervous to start wearing my new barrettes/camisoles b/c I was worried the wash (hand wash) would wear them out, but they've held up so well. I'm so grateful to all the folks at VAVA for beautiful pieces that make me feel so so good. *Most bras I've worn from stores typically have gaps at the top; the sizing was never right. But each of the pieces I have fit beautifully. I hope these reviews and the fact that VAVA will accommodate any sizing // customizations will inspire you to purchase a piece for yourself; you are so deserving of it. I saved -- haphazardly -- for ~ 2+ years to buy three pieces. I feel so good and I know these pieces will stay with me for a good while :)
I ordered a set of matching bottom/top pieces tailored to my measurements and they are the most wonderful, sexy and well-made garments I've worn in years. I'm thrilled. The cut is right on, and I feel powerful and beautiful when I wear them. 5'11, 175 lbs, hourglass. 34DD/E
If you are looking for a piece that will maintain it's quality and appeal over time, purchase from VAVA. I not only love the care and time she puts into each piece, I also feel in alignment with her values which is made apparent through the models and fabrics she chooses. Thank you!!
These are the most comfortable custom bralettes I could find to fit my buxom figure. I have three of these because I wear them everyday.
I'm very curvy and have large breasts. For the last twenty years I've had the misunderstanding that since I have large breasts I should only wear an underwire bra so I can get maximum support. I've had dozens of bra fittings over the years. I once paid $150 for a bra that was supposed to be the total magical unicorn bra and fit like a dream. But instead it's been twenty years of chronic rib pain, painful sores from the pressure of maximum support bands and a few times have even been literally stabbed by underwire that gave out during normal human movement. Last year I was scrolling Instagram and I came across Alyssa's work. She had posted a photo of a gorgeous curvy woman in custom lingerie with a caption about how every woman deserves to have underwear that fits them and how you could actually like get in touch with her and she would meet with you and measure you and help make something just for you based on your measurements. I instantly felt a small glowing ball of hope but I tried not to let myself get too excited, because, like, I've been told for 20 years that my body doesn't actually deserve to feel comfortable because it's big and thus ill-fitting garments must actually be my fault. I met with Alyssa and she was a freaking dreamboat. Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and she actually had some samples that fit me so we could talk options. She took my measurements and I placed an order of several of these longline camisoles. When they arrived in the mail I could tell right away I might have indeed hit the jackpot. Then I put them on in all their organic cotton glory and OH MY FREAKING GOD do you even know the magic of underwear that fits you? Like actually 100% no kidding fits you? Because if not y'all need to hop on that train. It's left the station and it's headed to the magical land of Actually You Never Have To Wear Underwire Bras Ever Freaking Again and I am here for it. I am so 100% here for it and I think you should be too.
